Pundaquit
is the "Home"
of the Capones Islands which
consist of 2 main islands;
Capones Island, topped with
a Spanish
Lighthouse, built in
the 1800's on it's Western
side. The Light tower was
renovated in the 1990's
with a solar powered light,
however the keepers' house
and other buildings are
in a bad state of disrepair.
-- and --Camra Island which
appears as two Islands during
low tide, but is joined
by a huge sandbar at low
tide.
Nearby Anawangin
Cove, Nagsasa cove and Tawangan
Cove, all located on the
the mainland, but accessible
only by boat, offer peace,
tranquility and privacy.
Pundit also
has a spectacular Waterfall,
silver sand beaches and
some pristine coral reefs.
For the a
adventurous there are some
spectacular hiking areas,
the hike to the Spanish
lighthouse is a must, as
are the waterfalls and nearby
mountains.
For the less
adventurous you can just
laze around our swimming
pool or enjoy a relaxing
drink or meal in our patio
garden.
